Straightening
Norway and the sea. These two go together for hundreds of years. So
you will understand that EFD Induction in Norway was the first company
which concentrated on straightening of ship-decks. Based on this long
lasting experience EFD has developed the TERAC system. This is a
compact straightening equipment which as well can be used for different
induction straightening purposes.
Beside the positive effect on the costs and a minimum on working
personnel the main benefit on induction straightening is the improved
surface quality.
TERAC is a complete and compact inductive straightening unit which
consists of an induction unit and a water cooling equipment, plus
necessary auxiliary material. TERAC is the most wanted because of its
“plug-and-play” function which makes it very easy for the user to work
with it.
With your TERAC you can straighten steel sheets up to 20mm thickness in
a working radius up to 45m.
Induction straightening is also possible with many other equipments out
of EFD´s product range like MINAC and SINAC. So you can use it in the
manufacturing of railway-cars, steel constructions and many more. With
the MINAC and SINAC equipments you are then in the position to do many
other processes in your production as well.
